　今日は暖かな日であった。

　薪割りをやった。今年最後になるのではないだろうか。

　今年は十分に用意できた。

 I seemed to see her mild, tearful eyes full upon me,  

    fullは、動詞で原形不定詞として使われている。

1) used to　かつてはよく・・・していた　　したものだ

1 (今と違って)以前はよく…した, かつては…するのが常であった (!doは動作動詞; → can1 1a 文法)
▸ He often used to have tea with us.
彼は以前はよく私たちと一緒にお茶を飲んだ
▸ Did you use(d) to come here when you were young?
 

2) be used to　名詞　あるいは　doing

〖be used to A〗 Aに慣れている(｟よりかたく｠ accustomed); ; 〖get [become, grow] ～ to A〗 Aに慣れる (!Aは〖名詞〗〖動名〗; コーパスbecome, growはしばしば完了形で用いられる)
▸ We are (well [very, pretty]) used to hardships.
我々は困難には (よく)慣れている
▸ We have to get used to living here.
ここでの生活に慣れないといけない(╳used to liveとしない).
